writing a story of their life life of being and African American in America  talks about his life  race  culture  history  life racism  education  had to talk about how it was to live in ghettos people of color live in fear  the are portrayed as the black person  “To be black in the Baltimore of my youth was to be naked before the elements of the world, before all the guns, fists, knives, crack, rape, and disease” (17). This quote shows that people of color are  vulnerable and scared to present themselves because of the fact that people frown upon them. “the changes have awarded me a rapture that comes only when you can no longer be lied to,  when you have rejected the Dream” (116). This quote expresses that dreams cant always come true for everyone. It isn't fair but it is the sad reality of the society. Question: Who decides if your dreams become a reality?

education frustrated  because of not being accepted in the world it is said that for them prison is inevitable find knowledge the poem  thinking about the woods  seeing discrimination racism  in prison wrote a lot of words  getting an education being incarcerated got another point of view while reader broader perspective  different interpretation got knowledgeable  A quote that caught my attention in this article was, "Many
who
today

me
somewhere
in
person,
or
on
television,
or
those
who

I’ve
 said,

This

studies." The fact that Malcom gave himself an education in prison kind of set a bar that he was not just there to waste time. He clearly becomes a great activist and leader for the colored and minority party and all this with the education of being in prison.  "I
never

So I think Richard Wright might be saying that the thing is the world? mainly because at the end he says the world and me. there for they are the only two things in the scene that morning. Considering the fact that this is during the Jim crow era he's probably seeing the world in a negative point of view because of society. The nature and world overall is beautiful, but once you see society of the world it makes it ugly or unrecognizable so its a "thing".

The reason for open ended questions is to be able to start a conversation. With close ended questions you're looking for quick easy answers, but when you have questions that make and interviewer think and have an extended answer that is when you have a good interview on your hands.

collaborative listening interviewing  asking questions  don't over ask  don't be too eager  don't be too aggressive expect the unexpected closed and opened ended questions  make sure listen a little more than talking or asking  "No matter how hard we try to lay aside our assumptions when we interview others, we always carry them with us. Rather than ignore our hunches, we need to form questions around them, follow them through, and see where they will lead us."(221). being able to find answers through questions is important by listen to the person you are asking. "Although most people think that the key to a good interview is asking a set of good questions, we and our students have found that the real key to interviewing is being a good listener."(225). Being a good listener is the best kind of interview because you are not bombarding all these questions to your speaker and they are not overwhelmed. QUESTIONS: What are some good intervie...

Basically all of my authors agree but have a different way of putting it. Authors,  Morial, Marc H., Duncan, A rne, and United States. Congress. House. Committee on Education, all have the same idea that all children need is to be taken in to a reformed education in order for them to get the best education possible.

my resources is a little tricky because i am trying to find the best sources that clearly addresses my issues topic. I am being very critical but also allowing myself the time and open mindedness to accept certain resources. It is going well so far. my scholarly sources are a little more complicated to read compared to my popular.

websites  credible cross check if real  be careful  the way we get our information has completely changed we can simple search  not all is real  some can be altered corrected  given false facts  some have bias  some may be opinionated  anyone can post something everyone can create sites  everyone can be an author  We have everything in the palm of our hands, we can just simply whip out ur phones and find some information, for example,"We live in an age when going to the library means turning on our laptops and making sure that we have a wireless connection." (14). This is so convenient but we risk the chance of being screwed over with false information.  Our society has become so lazy that we don't even think for ourselves anymore we let the internet do that for us. "The most critical question facing young people today is not how to find information. Google has done a great job with that."(15). The fcat...
