Although some may say it is up tp the student to get their selves together and be successful, I believe when you get some help and support from others like teacher's it motivates you to continue striving, and through my extended research I have concluded that teacher's should get reform from the educational system to be able to have the ability to support their students.

Evaluating Sources  defines topics  main ways to communicate topics  distinguish between popular and scholarly sources  consulting experts  quote  cite  ideas  sources  get as much information from sources  credible sources  deeper understanding  Some tips for reading sources can include, "Skimming a book or an article entails briefly looking over the elements we have discussed so far"(134).  This helps of you want a basic idea of the sources without taking too much time.  Expanding your sources can help expand you central idea. "Strategies for expanding the base of sources you work with to support your argument"(120). It'll make your essay more creditable and informational.  Questions:  How can sources help or hurt students? Where are good places to look for credible sources? 

During break one day I went to the Westlake plaza with my cousin to buy groceries at safeway. We finished buying the groceries and we were on our way back home when we saw a Keurig on the floor, brand new, and it says "free". So I observe it made sure there wasn't any significantly wrong with it, and asked my cousin, "should I take it? it looks brandnew?" my cousin was like "do whatever". So I picked it up but what happened was it was a little heavier than expected so I dropped a couple of pieces and some people in their cars laughed at me but I was just like, "Sick I just goit a new Keurig."

The A Path Appears opened my mind and gave me a broader perspective on educational issues and how a lot of people struggle in school and learning or being motivated in learning.  Students need to be able to go to school confidently and believe they will succeed in education. A lot of the time students are not ready to continue on to higher education and that's the issue.

Overall the book A Path Appears really gave me new insight on the world and how to change a life and help others in need. I really enjoyed the book because I was able to see how people who have struggled were able to overcome  adversity. The most specific examples would have to be a part of the book that will never leave my mind is the girl Jessica who was in a house of substance abuse and domestic abuse, who was able to get away and make a better life for herself. I enjoyed the book and the overall theme and message of it, I just feel like there was a little too much to read.

Essay 2 helped me think about a discussion topic by making think through more of the importance of the book. It made me be more critical and precise of what i wanted to know and ask. The central theme all through the story is change and growth, and positive progress from people who ultimately made their faith seem inevitably wrong. I still have not thought to issues I want to write about yet. Maybe educational equality and equity?
