The authors mention the reason why the wrote the book which is, "We wrote this book to encourage others rich and poor alike to join in this push to improve the world."(16) The struggle of people being born into a poor life does not necessarily mean you need to stay poor, you can always make your life change for the better and you grow as a person and change the society for the better.


 "Successful people often scorn those who are poor or homeless"(14). This quote is meaning that rich people see poor people as different or not worth anything because they don't make enough money. They see them as less important.
