Marjane is a motivational leader who speaks some motivational words to her friends. For example, "The revolution is like a bicycle. when the wheels don't turn, it falls"(10). She was saying if the revolution doesn't revolve as planned it'll eventually crumble and stop.

Although Marjane is just a young little girl she still worries about others like her grandma ,"can I help you."(26). She asked her grandma if she could help her with anything after she had come of a long day with aching feet.

Marjane is so against the killing going of in the revolution that she is even willing to punish her classmates whos parents are involved in the war. "In the name of the dead million, we'll teach Ramin a good lesson."(45). She is going to show Ramin a lesson for something he did not do because his father murdered millions.

QUESTIONS:

Would Marjane get in trouble for being too verbal?
Would Marjane ever be intimidated?
