Proofreading to me is like when you are reading a writing and you see if there are any mistake in the writing. You could look for grammar mistakes, punctuation mistakes, and etc. Proofreading can also involve fixing transitions and the flow of your writing. In writing workshops it is the writers job to proofread and the readers job to just revise and suggest things to change in your writing.
